Another rice boy is born

I have a coworker that's so impressed with my sleeper 3 that he bought his brother's 97 Civic DX ATX stock and installed an AEM intake, 17" ICW rims, painted calipers, rotor hats, and brake drum black, I think a full cat back (or just a muffler) and I think I header too installed in 1 week.* He doesn't know much about cars (he doesn't know the difference between an exhaust and a header) but he has much more mod funds than I do.* He told me he bought some kind of "AEM bar" after he saw my rear lower tie bar but when he tried to install it, it wouldn't fit the bottom of his car.* I kept asking him what exactly did he buy and he said he just bought it* *:?

Now he's parking backwards like me too... ack!

He told me today that he killed a Z.* "When the light turned green, i stepped on the gas and I beat him!"* I felt kinda sad that he thought that, but since he's a nice guy, i just said, "wow, those wheels you have on must be really light!"* Yea, I know.* But it's bliss...

ROFLes

I felt like a ricer at my buddy's b-day party.

Everbody had a stage-2 WRX (or better). One guy showed up with his 500hp STi and was giving people rides.
One other guy has a 300+ "ricer" Civic (chrome wheels, altezza tails, slammed, blacked out windows); The Ultimate Sleeper (he eats sport bikes for breakfast).
Another guy had a modded RX-7, but he was hush-hush about the specs.

He was like, what all do you have done to her?
I was like, Um... intake, short shifter... ...

beansoldier.....Osram Silverstars shouldn't be under "control" in your sig. Obviously your coworker has been around you to much.

Seems like no matter what you do nowadays unless its a turbo or you have over 300whp your car is rice. Not everyone can dish out $$$ for mods that will give you 300+hp.

Re: Another rice boy is born

im sorry thebeansoldier but i wouldnt call your 3 a "sleeper" just from what your sig says...lol

and yes its funny to see the lil ones try to mod cars without knowing a thing about it, but maybe if you think you are up to it, help him out a bit

good luck

When I read things like this I can only wonder if the driver of the other car even knew he was being raced....
