Car Colors for 2009

They see blue becoming more popular as liquid-metal ... shades are developed. Green will get infusions of sparkle, for distinction...
Sound like Winning Blue and Nordic Green much? Mazda must be ahead of the curve here! :-)

Re: Car Colors for 2009

I just read that article too. Seems like they're also on-the-ball with Copper Red (earth tone) and even though it's gone on the 3, Lava Orange (a copper color).

Random side note: Is Lava Orange available under a different name for the 6 and B-Series truck? Copper Orange, I believe?

2005 Lava Orange Mica Mazda3s 5-Door ||4-Speed Sport AT||ABS/SAB/SAC Package ||KONI Sport Yellow Adjustable Shock Absorbers|| K&N Filtercharger || Mobil 1 5W-30 ||3.5" Stubby || Garage Vary Valiant Front Lip || Axela MAZDASPEED Shift Knob || MAZDASPEED Pedal Set||Zoom-Zoom.

SOLD!

Re: Car Colors for 2009

I like silver cars, but as others have said, there are way too many! I'm liking the glow of my WB.

The orange colors are different between the 3 and the 6. Don't know where the truck fits in...

Hopefully while they're at it, they develop paint that is more durable......

Re: Car Colors for 2009

Unfortunately I doubt that'll happen! Paint's seemed to have steadily gotten worse (yet more beautiful) in the last decade or two. That leaves it on us, the owners, to provide the extra care to maintain the finish.

Re: Car Colors for 2009

Yeah..but it's gotten to the point where the efforts to take care of it actually do as much harm as good....I can actually scratch my paint with a brand new microfiber towel if I try hard enough....not that I try, but I did it accidentally by running a small spot too hard.
