Another $*%@ing ticket.

Got tracked at 77 then I slowed down to 75 in a 50 KM/H zone and got nailed this morning.

This was on a fucking DOWNHILL!* And it's not like the cop was driving behind me, it was a ghost car sitting in a hidden driveway .

Should I dispute the ticket for the bitch doing speed checks on a downhill?

Re: Another $*%@ing ticket.

Good luck disputing this... The judge's answer: "Takes longer to stop on a downhill; all the more reason not to be speeding."

Re: Another $*%@ing ticket.

I got another one too the other day. Mine was a little teeny bit more....eheh.

Also there is no law about downhill. You know downhill coasts you faster. You're just looking for a way out of the ticket.

You were breaking the law, by a fair margin. Take the ticket.

Re: Another $*%@ing ticket.

I've only had one (for speeding, anyways... ). 75 in a 55; I thought the cop was being nice by only ticketing me for doing 65, until I realized that it only cut the ticket down by 10 bucks from something like $200. Though, maybe it didn't hit my insurance so hard... meh

I dunno, I've always felt that if you get nailed fair and square, there's no point in being a dick and trying to squeeze out on a technicality. I mean, people always get pissed at the cop or whatever, but can you really blame anyone but yourself?

Re: Another $*%@ing ticket.

First time I was pulled over was going downhill.... in my first car, 3 months after I got my license. 72mph in a 35 zone. Cop was nice and gave me a firm warning instead of taking my license on the spot.

Don't speed, kids! Stay in school..... and stuff.

Re: Another $*%@ing ticket.

worste i got was like 60 is a 35... right out of shcool theres a gate, everyone speeds down that road, one day the cops were like "lets really piss al the kids off" 5 cop cars, one guy with a gun hideing in the bushes (or so i assume i didnt see anyone even after my radar detector went crazy) was lame...

Re: Another $*%@ing ticket.

Well please note that this is KM/H not MP/H.

Cops will rarely pull anyone over who is doing 19 or below over the speed limit.

I didn't see the lights behind me, I saw her fucking light up just as I passed her. *I stopped on a dime immediately hoping she would go easy on me!

She also had problems believing me that it was my car.
