The Romantic You.

Are you a romantic person? If yes, what is the most romantic thing you have done for your partner? Do you have other good ideas of romance for that special person in your life?

Yeah, I would put myself in the 'romantic' category.

From my dating years through marriage, I've always tried to incorporate romance into each of my relationships.

I have 101 ideas, so just ask if interested. haha

Remember guys, the best gifts a woman can receive are the un-expected ones given on a day that is not a special event (i.e., holiday, anniversary, birthday, etc.).

So true... bringing a single flower at random times is nice, and many times it's more meaningful than a whole bouqet. Planning a spring picnic to a remote park or lake is nice too. I love to cook, so of course a nice, heart-felt meal is a must and hardly a "special" event for me. On a cold, winter weekend, putting a hold on the chores and crap is good in favor of sharing a blanket and cup of cocoa next to the fire and/or a favorite movie.

Awww....... :-)

Re: The Romantic You.

hehe, sounds like a plan. *She's taking me somewhere yummy for dinner, she won't tell me where, but she's VERY excited about it, and she knows what food I like so I'm sure it will be good.

Anyone know of good things to send besides stuffed crap and flowers? *Those things get kinda old.

Depends what your relationship is like, but I tend to be a joker at times. Think of something wacky that she likes, or something serious then get a wacky gift. Also, it's good to listen to things she mentions throughout the year, remember them or make a note about it. (Or think back in this case since you want to do it quickly.) For example, there was a girl I met about a year ago who I became close with for a while. We both were new to the area (both started working in NYC at the same time) and we spent a day in central park together and rode the carousel together. Turns out she loves carousels - I remember that. Another time we were talking about the holidays (last year) and how we both don't have much in terms of Christmas decorations/ornaments because of recently getting our own places - remember that. Then when I feel like a surprise gift, I found a nice carousel horse Christmas ornament and bam! Nice gift. This was a low-key, simple case but anything can be a romantic gift if you tie it back to her likes and interests.
