You are thinking Shuffle. The Nano has a color screen on it.

If you have album covers listed for your songs, it'll post those up as you cycle through. (my buddy was telling me about it.)

No, he's not thinking shuffle. The Nano is the 1k songs one (by apple's math... in reality holds more than that by a bit). Anyway, I haven't yet tried to upload pics to my iPod... I suppose I should figure that out as well.

Shuffle is not set for pics. You need a IPOD Photo to be able to upload pics...

Re: i pod nano help

I have 700 high quality pictures on my nano and they barely take up any space. In itunes when you have your nano highlighted look in the bottom right corner. There should be 3 or 4 buttons and one is like iPod options or something to that affect. click on that and there will be a little tab that says "photo", and then you pick which folders to import the pictures onto your nano. The only downside is that you can only put pictures onto the nano from one computer, if you try to put pictures on it from another computer it will delete the pictures you presviously put on your nano.

Re: i pod nano help

what about going through explorer and adding them in? Kind of like the way you take files off of the ipod. Display hidden files and folders and work from there.
If you put them in that way the you won't be able to look at the pictures on the nano. Unless you just want to store them.
I meant drop them in the folder with the other pics the nano already stores. Like on the ipod where the music is stored in hidden folders that are titled f1 through f45. Whatever the hidden folder name is for those specific photos, drop them in there.
I dont own a Nano but am just saying what I experienced with my regular ipod as a potential solution.
I am not saying just drop it into a regular directory but the ones in ipod control.
