Trans-Siberian Orchestra Tour 2005!!!

Tickets for the Trans-Siberian Orchestra Fall 2005 Tour have officially gone on sale!!

If you are familiar with TSO and/or have seen them, please feel free to post here!

If you are not familiar with Trans-Siberian Orchestra, then I'll try and fill you in. They formed back in 1996 by 1 man with a vision, he teamed up with a friend and they started composing music together. To make the long story short, they grew over the years and started touring nationally in approx. 1998. They're music is like nothing else. Now today, they have 30 people in the group. They play Christmas Rock music that is Orchestra style, but trust me it is awesome!! It's a mix of orchestra musicians, electrical and acoustic guitars, piano, keyboard, synthesizers, singers, and drums. It's absolutely amazing! Plus they specialize in a light show too! It is by far the best light show you will ever see!! Guaranteed!

The several main members of the band who were the originals play several different kinds of electrical guitars and are some of the best I have ever seen! No exaggeration. Then the rest of the band members are either orchestra players, singers, piano or keyboard players or narrators. (they have christmas stories incorporated into their songs) Some songs are slow, some are fast and upbeat, really fun to listen and watch!!

Check them out at www.trans-siberian.com. The site intro you will hear a sample of their music, so that's a good first impression. Check the tour and see if they are coming a town near you.

I just picked up 2 tickets today for my dad and I. They are coming to Hershey Park, PA in late November. I live only 10 miles from the Chocoloate capital of the world! I can't wait for this concert! This will be my 3rd time seeing TSO.

Feel free to post your experiences if you have seen them.

Oh cool, Yeah I saw them 2 years ago, that's cool your friend stood in.* I don't remember that name, but I'm sure I saw him up there on stage.

Yeah, they really do love to come play at hershey.* When I saw them at Hershey 2 years ago the main band member said that since they've been touring (1998) that the Hershey crowd the night I was there was the best fans and crowd they have EVER had!* Awesome!! Kudos to the people in my area!

Tickets will probably vary by city and venue, but my tickets were $47.50 each for the elevated level (regular area seats), floor seats are probably upper $50's or low $60's.* It's well worth it though if you get a chance to see them.

I don't think so, only Christmas music can be found on their website.* From the pattern I've seen, it seems they work on a new album every year during the spring and summer, then plan out their US Tour.* Then they tour the U.S. from the beginning of November right up to the end of December and thier new CD for that year is released when they start touring.* Then they take their break for the first few months of the year.* I guess they rely on their CD's and touring for their income.* I'm sure they do good.
