help with sound

sorry to post here, but i coudnt find off topic section. will some1 help me please i think i lost my sound drivers and it says i have no sound device and now my comp dosent make nioce, please!!! some1 help me =```(

Have you checked the sound card manufacturer's website for drivers? And if your card came with your motherboard, then check the motherboard manufacturer's website.

why don't you look in device manager and see if there are any errors associated with that device? Or if it's even still listed there? Is it an actual card or is it on-board? What is it? What happened just before you ran into the problem?

Did you maybe delete something you shouldn't have?

Did you try just rebooting your computer???

If that doesnt work look at your Device Manager if there is a yellow triangle with an exclamation point on it..right click and choose update driver than see what happens when it goes through automatically and tries to update the driver..if that fails..visit the manufacturers website..download the drivers and go from there...good luck..

if you want you can go rght click my computer -> properties -> hardware -> device manager, and try updating your drivers...if that fails you may have to reformat
