Timbuk2 or Chrome

Looking for a smaller messenger bag, thinking of a Timbuk2 either a small Classic Messenger or the medium sized Pro Messenger, vs the Chrome Mini Metro.* Both get high reviews.* Anyone have any opinions?

Chrome has a cool buckle...

Thanks!

Re: Timbuk2 or Chrome

I like the chrome one. Timbuk2's shiny center panel thing aint doin it for me.

Although I prefer leather manbag sort of things.

Re: Timbuk2 or Chrome

Yeah, leather does look nicer, but this is for commuting via bike and they both have lifetime warrenties, and are water resistant etc...

Actually the seatbelt buckle is more function since you can undo you strap without lifting the bag over your head like most. And the Timmy's center panel is reflective. So they are gawdy but useful I guess.

I guess the Chrome one is more unique, since a lot of folks carry a T2.

I don't suppose any of you guys/glas has used either?

Re: Timbuk2 or Chrome

nope, I'm one of those business types so its a kenneth cole leather bag that goes to work with me.

Would be pretty impractible for bike riding tho. I'd go with the Chrome, does it have color choices?
