ah.................................... this is one of those things that needs to be sold in one of those novelty mall stores. *I'd have to "feel it and hear it" to believe it.

Re: Introducing the iPillow...

I can't imagine how you wouldn't be able to feel the speakers. In addition, there's a wire connecting the pillow to your iPod, which would only be a nuisance for me. I have tendency to twist and turn at night, and my pillow gets tossed around quite a bit. That can't be good if there's a cord attached to it...

Why not just play your music on a small stereo or a laptop or something? Or you can just get a cheap pair of computer speakers for your iPod, instead of having them embedded in your pillow.

Thats kind of funny. I cant imagine its all the comfortable..how did they rig speakers up in there? Evem if you use flat speakers youd still feel it throguh the pillow Id imagine? Unless they are using the pillow insulation as the speakers...

I'll bet this pillow isn't our regular "down stuffing" type pilow and probably has a firmer foam pad core that he embedded some small speakers into... it's probably not that soft... but then some people like firm pillows...

Re: Introducing the iPillow...

I think it would feel just like a normal pillow. Maybe they just used some softer padding so you don't feel the speakers? I dunno

Re: Introducing the iPillow...

It would be great if the speaker was hard and heavy in the inside... you could do some serious K.O.s with that thing.

Re: Introducing the iPillow...

Sounds like a pretty useless product that won't sell. The guy probably came up with this silly idea one night during a bout of insomnia.

Quote:
Trust me - I built one for myself because I have a hard time falling asleep without listening to music. Whenever I tried using headphones they would always keep me up because they would hurt my ears
As another person in this thread said, why not just turn on a stereo or laptop? I fall asleep every night with the radio on (talk radio) and just use the sleep feature that turns it off after an hour. This guy is making falling asleep to music/radio/whatever more complicated than it really is. Then again, that's the way it is with about 99% of "inventions" these days.
