Tips for sellin your 3

YO, im selling my car privately and am wondering if there are some good tips for influencing your buyer to buy your 3. My car is a year and 2 months old and i am selling it for 15,000, which i think is an awesome deal, i just need to get rid of it quick. So well, what should i do?

Receipts for work done. Organize all of them in a folder.

uh, the best tip I have is that your car has to be stock to make it easy to sell....

people don't add value (and in some cases, subtract value) if you jack with the car. I mean, if you restore a car to stock, you don't have to tell people you messed with it to begin with. Of course, if you're ethically sensitive - you'd tell them anyway.

Just make sure you have your service records all ready - you advertise in the right places - and you brush up on some negotiation skills

I second (or third) the part about keeping your service records organized. People LOVE to see that and will be more likely to go with your car versus one at a dealership somewhere that has no record of the first oil change even being done. I've tried to keep every single thing I can with m car so when I sell it that will be a major selling point.

Re: Tips for sellin your 3

Agree with above statements.
The obvious is to be extra clean. Spend the time to detail it and even rinse the engine of dust! It's a fact that a clean car sells for more!
Also, show the buyer an estimate of what the car is worth, blue book consumer edition, and talk it up like "rated best small car" etc.
Asides for local paper, might want to place ad in Autotrader.com.
Also place car in high traffic area with "for sale" sign.

Yes!!! Super clean is a must. Make sure to get all of the door jams. Go through cleaning all of the nooks and cranies on the dash with a Q-tip. Wax it so its nice a shiny, and clean everything under the hood. Get the stuff that makes your tires look all nice and black. And Reciepts!!!!

Well you said you needed to get rid of it quick... Doesn't get much faster than that.
