Re: Paintball in PA (first time)

Don't get hit!!! Nah seriously its a blast. With the adrenaline flowing you won't even feel the pain. It's not too bad anyway. Just bring lots of $ that paint is expensive, and you often will shoot a whole lot more than you plan on. My friends went there for a 2 day D-Day invasion a year or two ago. They had a great time but couldn't afford paint for the second day.

BTW: do you have your own gun?

Re: Paintball in PA (first time)

Wear a cup! I cant emphasize this enough. I used to play back in High school and the one time I didnt wear a cup, you guessed it. My nut blew up to the size of a grapefruit, I am NOT exaggerating. I blacked out from the pain, fell down and then proceeded to crawl the 200 feet back to the aid station (this was up at west point in 2000). Just thinking about the pain makes my penis soft

Oh yeah, I forgot about that part. Not quite sure if I would like to see pictures of that bruise.. I have a 2 pod ball hauler which I usually strategically position there, just for that purpose. I have been lucky so far. My friend got shot in the dick, he said it wasn't too bad. I think the swelling gave him a bigger ego.

I love that place (yes, girls can be good at paintball too!)

Those things hurt (more like sting)- so wear a few layers of *clothing. I usually wear sweatpants, jeans AND that camo thing they give you to wear and a few shirts and a sweatshirt or something. It'll get hot wearing all that- thats actually the reason I've always gone in the colder months.

Just be smart (yea they are only games- but still its better to win!) and it really is a lot of fun!
When you get there sit on the side of the bus with the people you want on your team- thats how they will split the teams up.
TheJackal is right- the damn paint gets expensive!

Above all: HAVE FUN & KICK ASS!

Awesome Lily... I have only known a few girls to play.
I play in the winter too, but thats just because we play in backyards and the brush gets too thick in the summer.

And dont get shot in the ass. That stings a whole lot more than you would think....

Knowing that its my first time, I don't own a gun/cup/camo suit. Do they provide you w/ a cup? Might have to make a run to models, god knows if somebody hits me in the cash and prizes i'll be out for weeeeekssss.

[/quote]I doubt it. *A cup is like 8 bucks at sports authority. *You dont need the stiffest ones. *I cant remember the one supply gave us when we went down to Gryphon group but it was a cup for soccer. *The thing had a pair of boxer briefs and the cup was semi flexible but still strong enough to protect. *It was very comfortable and its killing me that I cant remember the brand name.

I cant tell you it WASNT one of these
