I hate my parents attitudes wow

Ok, so me and my dad are sitting around, and he asks me to take care of the verizon fone bill.. I say ok, but only if have time and if i remember (completely honest answer considering im taking 18 units and im at school 8-12 waking hours a day, tomorrow [thursday] being the most busy of all where im there 13 hours)... He takes offense to that and starts telling me all these situations where i do things for my friends (big difference, those were different times, not when im in school dammit!)... I get up and walk away calmly without saying a single word so that i dont start anything... i was already in a bad mood as it was.

I just go and sit in my room, and not 30 seconds later my dad comes barreling down to my room all pissed off and yelling to me this and that. I sat there calmly a few more seconds before i couldnt take it anymore and snapped. He walked away, apparently satisfied, went upstairs to my mom and told her a completely different story... what a prick. She comes down beleiving him 100%, and thinks im 100% at fault.... At this point im like whatever, get out of my room and out of my face, but they KEEP COMING BACK FOR MORE! gawd, parents piss me off SOO much when they do shit like that, i cant wait for my transfer app to go thru.

Dude... when your age is "in the teens", you are a teenager. Adulthood, much like wisdom, does not automatically come with age. It's gained (even better to say earned) by learning from your experiences.

You CAN be an adult and a teenager at the same time. However you see yourself, remember that you're going to be a teenager until you're 20

Eat right, exercise regularly, die anyway.

Cant, gotta finish off these two semesters, no student loan until i go to the UC im tryin to transfer to. Plus i didnt ask for smart-ass replies to my statement that im not a teen... I just was ranting at the pure patheticness of the situaton, not stupid little details. And yes, i canNOT wait to move out.

Re: I hate my parents attitudes wow

errr, just remember, you are only young once, but you can stay immature forever!

but seriously, looks like you are being fairly mature in your handling of this, just need to reduce your stress level so you will be able to cut your parents some slack. They are just trying to parent you, make sure you are a responsible person with bill payment. You will appreciate their efforts when time comes to look at your credit history, which depends largely on you being on time with yoour bills...
