Re: Royal Canadian Mounted Police

It was the Vancouver Urban Search and Rescue team. They spent a week in New Orleans and are already home.

Hey, guess what! The Federal Government, and by association, FEMA, is NOT responsible for being the first one on the scene! It's a local and state issue, with the Federal Gov't there as a -resource-, not to be the ones managing and doing everything!

Enjoy your spahgetti, you're very rude.

Some people will never understand that. Evidently they are unaware that local and state governments exist.

In which case the local or state government is supposed to formally request aid, not blab about it on talk radio and the governor is actually supposed to turn over her power to the officials on the ground. So, yeah, get off the federal government, they're operating within policy.
