minor surgery on toe, but extremely painful

Ok, so i had an infected toe (yea it sounds grosser than it was).... My big toe on left foot had swelling and was needing to be drained... Well bad news, my doctor apparently fucked up and ripped my whole toenail off (improperly done)... now my entire nailbed was almost infected and much of my upper layers of nail bed was torn away. I am in severe pain, and my dad wont let me take vicodin even though the pain is almost physically unbearable (my dads a doctor so he thinks he knows best, but hes a lung doctor, not a foot doctor!).

Surgery happened friday, i have been screaming in pain ever since. Oh yea, i gotta walk ~1.5 miles to school on tuesday (cant miss college)

WIsh me luck.

I now own a 2008 350z Base MT

Dude, fuck doctors that don't specialize in the area. I've had both my toes worked on my different drs. The family doctor who looked at it first made me scream in pain, go it hurt when he tried to work on it.

Go to a pediatrist. They know what nerves to numb, and what to leave alone. There is about a 10,000X difference in the pain levels.

I've had an ingrown toenail, twice, on the same toe so I know what he's going through. I had to have the entire toenail removed. I feel for you man!
