Hmm, is Mazda getting feedback from forum?

Wondering if Mazda Co. is getting any feedback from consumers in this forum!*
If so, they can get some very useful info on marketing and improvements e.t.c..

This forum only represents a small minority of 3 owners who tend to be performance-minded. Is it worth their time to listen to us?

I doubt Mazda will ever awknowledge that they're sending people here.... since they'll be afraid that we'll change our behavior in posting or something. *

I'm sure they lurk and see who all is taking their "coolant bypass" + "CAI installed" car in for warranty repairs since the car is idling funny

Given that most buyers spend time doing research online - you know many prospective customers frequent the board to see what actual owners are saying about the car.

And you better be sure that all the general gripes we have about brake dust, bad A/C, faulty fuel pumps, etc makes an impact. Mazda would be pretty silly to let this goldmine of information slip by with no analysis either..... I mean they pay people to do focus groups to get feedback - and here it's all free.

This is true. Word of mouth from other 3 owners is a very effective form of advertisement (good or bad).

They're probably checking.* I mean, they only need 1 guy.* They're overly concerned about customer service.* They send me so many surveys about my visits to the dealership I almost consider it junk mail.

Just in case: Mazda, the 3's throttle body lag and A/C REALLY sucks.

I think they would be foolish NOT to pay attention to this forum. There is a lot of valuable input/feedback, both good and bad, being posted here by actual owners. And it's cheaper than sending out 'surveys' that many people treat like junk mail.
