Need help with a USB flash drive!

Whats a better brand? Sandisk or PQI?

I need one of these things for my computer class, and since im buying one, i might as well go all out and get a 1gb one. Ive narrowed it down to either a Sandisk one, or a PQI one. The cool thing about the PQI is that its the smallest USB drive on the market right now, but ive never heard of the brand before.

Also can you set a password on these things? Like when your selecting the USB device from My Computer can you make it so that a password screen pops up or something? Thanks 8)

I have Iomega 1 gig drive and one 512 for work related stuff. Its highly fasionable becasue it comes with a cool chain necklace, and you can wear it around your neck and impress the ladies with your USB 1 gig mini drive.

Yeah, the ladies love that. It's a trendy hint that you also have other "mini" pieces of equipment...

Re: Need help with a USB flash drive!

i have 2 PQI sticks, a 128 and a 1gb. i use the 1gb stick everyday. never had a problem with it. i like it because it comes with a little credit card size carrier, which holds them both. the stick is really small, and inconspicuous. also came with a bigger adapter that looks like the other usb sticks, but i never use it.

and for anyone with a usb stick, makes sure you check out portable apps:

Re: Need help with a USB flash drive!

I highly recommend USB 007 brand. They are very small, possibly one of the smallest out there, about the size of an average pinkie finger. Go to www.usb007.com. I just bought a 512MB one for $39.98 + shipping. The 1GB one is $83.88 + shipping. These flash drives are good quality, easy to use, plug and play on Windows 2000 & XP. They are USB 2.0, and the transfer rates are crazy fast.
