Re: Anyone take GMAT?? Tips??

Do a crap load of practice tests. I didn't take the test, but my old college roommate did and I looked at a bunch of those practice tests - even did pretty well myself! I was considering taking the test for shits and giggles, then I got my good job offer and forgot all about "school" and "tests" for the time being! Good luck!

Re: Anyone take GMAT?? Tips??

I took the GMAT about six years ago. I cannot comment on the Kaplan guides. I bought one of the Arco books but I am not sure they are still in print. It came with a CD of practice tests. It was great for getting used to taking the test on the computer. I strongly recommend getting one with the CD-ROM. Oh yeah, I got a 730 on my first and only attempt. Not bad for about six hours of prep. Good luck.

730? Damn, that is a really good score. Where did you go to grad school/B-school?
