TV Tuner - standalone

Is there such a thing as a standalone tv tuner with VGA or DVI output? I want to use a computer monitor as a TV, so I just need a tuner...

There are monitors with built in tv tuners!

Titanium Grey HB 5 spd, ABS, Moonroof, Leather seats, Exel RS-GT 17x7.0 Hyperblack 225/45/17 Azenis RT-615, Racing Beat Front/Rear Sway + Endlinks, Mazdaspeed MSP3 Coilovers, 88 AWR Mount, Apexcone 6000k HID, I deturboed my car and removed my built engine. I'm now stock powertrain + an Injen.

I know what u are talking about and yes they do. I dont recall exactly what it is but, I saw it in Popular science.

Dell has several LCD tvs that have coaxial connection as well as comp capabilities. find a local kiosk at the mall.

I see a 42'' wall mounted LCD in my future w/wireless keyboard and mouse so that I can just lounge on my couch.

Re: TV Tuner - standalone

I mean I could just use a VCR, but that's kinda ghetto.

Anyway, I have a monitor, I just want a tuner for it.

Re: TV Tuner - standalone

I was reffering to the original question saying there is no standalone TV tuner that plugs into the monitor...but yes there are plenty of monitors with tuners built in..
