Car Clubs

Dont know if this is the right place for this but oh well. I was driving home from work tonight and on the way home I got to drive by a low-rider car club. Have always liked low-riders, one of em was an Impala, at the stop light it bouncin round for a second. I just always love driving by car clubs as they arent acting like asshats racing all over the place. Have had that happen a few times as well. But in general always nice to drive by a car club or motorcycle club and enjoy the views.

Re: Car Clubs

90% of the car clubs 'round my area are a bunch of 16-26 year old boys slapping some "ghetto-fied" saying on their rear window with rides that have three colors of primer on their car and two types of rims. haha

Unfortunately, we do not have any mature, "serious about cars" type of car clubs.

I'm glad I have our MZ3 meets to fill my weekends though.

Re: Car Clubs

Mose of the car clubs in the GTA are cool...

There is a great Mazda following, as there are monthy meets for most of the sporty imports (I seen nice turnouts for 3's and the Protegé clubs).

Yes, agree!
Also, we have a great car club locally here in Las Vegas.
We are cool, meet, go for drives, talk about our MZ3's and how to improve them e.t.c.
Can check us out at www.lvmazda3.com

Re: Car Clubs

[shamelessplug]We have a good car club in my area its just called the MidWest Car Club www.midwestcarclub.com we get together every week(well some of us do) to just hangout and talk about what we are planning on doing with our cars, as well as talk about all the idiots who have tried to race us (One guy that I just started hanging out with at these meets has a blown DSM running 39psi of street boost, you shouldnt try and race him, unless you drive a ferrari). Re: Car Clubs

There are a bunch of VW clubs around here.* Seems like thre were a few good ones and they wouldnt let certain people in so they made offshoots.* It seemed like the majority of the offshoot clubs s had some sort of elitist attitude and no real goals in mind.* They just wanted to be part of a club, so they could say they were part of a club.*
I would rather have a few good friends who I can turn a wrench with then some club full of wannabes.
