It shouldn't be that complicated!

Re: Need some help with a new Dig camera

windows XP has its own digital camera recognition thing. shouldnt it read the camera plug and play?

Better get a CR drive like me, then just pop in the card and drag em out.

^^^ Agreed - I use a USB one so I can take it with me and transfer images when I'm at someone else's computer too!

Re: Need some help with a new Dig camera

yea, plus a CR thing is relitively cheap and easy to install, just need an internal USB port. Plus its faster than waiting for the download between the camera and the PC

heres alll my CR drives

Re: Need some help with a new Dig camera

Thats the thing, it has the USB plug n play cable. I have 6 USB ports that are not in use right now. 2 in the front and 4 in the back. I have tried each one.
*But for some reason it won't recogize the Device.
I'm chatting with a SONY rep now to see if I can get this resolved

Good luck mazda3girl!

<sarcasm>It's great to see that we've been able to perfect USB functionality since the days of Win95!</sarcasm>
