Indiana Jones IV Go Ahead!!

Well, Harrison Ford and Lucas have agreed - they are tweaking, and it's due in 2007.... I can't wait.

Still my favorite trilogy ever - and now it has a new chapter!

Re: Indiana Jones IV Go Ahead!!

I don't think it will bomb, but I think it will face some issues. But as one of the reviews I've read stated, Sean Connery did bond for well over 20 years, so what's a few more to Indiana Jones and Harrison Ford?

The downside, they are not aging him but 10 years into the late 40's I think is what I way. Or may it was his 40's. I forget.

IMO, this is a dumb idea. The first three IJ's movies were classics.

Why mess with a classic? I guess they had to jump on the Star Wars bandwagon. haha

I'd have to see some scenes/script before I can make a complete opinion of it.

Re: Indiana Jones IV Go Ahead!!

Ford is 63 and Connery is 75 (dang, he started early for Ford to be his son 8)), and Ford was getting kinda old for the part in the last movie, 16 years ago. I wish they had decided to make this about a decade ago.

Mind you, I'll probably see it anyway - a diet, some clairol, a face lift or three, Botox, hit the weights, gauze over the lens, and a lot of make-up - hey, its Hollywood!

Re: Indiana Jones IV Go Ahead!!

I'm all for it! I just hope they make it just as good as the originals, and don't stray away from the classic film making of the first 3. I know they'll use up to date technology and film making, but they must stick to the original format to keep it's image and legend up to par. I know Harrison is old, but I think he'll still have that young feel and kick ass!

It's Lucas, so I'm not worried. He's the best in the biz in my book!

Re: Indiana Jones IV Go Ahead!!

I hope they don't go crazy and pretend like Ford is still a young guy, and having swinging over things, and shit. Maybe if they accept his age a little and focus more on the humor and adventure of the first 3 then it will be interesting. But if they go for mainly action and stunts it will be harder to pull off.

Eitherway I am going to see it. If it's good or bad you have to see just so you can talk about it.
