Road Trip West

Just wanted to share some pics of my 1st road trip in my MZ3. My destination was Boulder, Colorado. It took some 20 hours straight through to reach Boulder. I took the northern route I-80) both there and back.

Just got back Sunday after driving back to the depressing city of Youngstown, Ohio.
I've been west a number of times, but this was the 1st time I did the drive by myself. What a blast! Oh well, just thought I'd share...

Driving through Rocky Mtn. National Forest

Leaving Boulder heading north towards Estes Park

Looking out at Marys Lake before reaching Estes Park

In El Dorado Canyon State Park -the Continental Divide

Golfing in Broomfield, CO

Re: Road Trip West

aside from doing the drive alone, it was a blast. something about driving cross country gets me. does your state use ethanol in its gas?
plus, i noticed that a lot of gas stations sold 85 grade gas. i'm accustomed to 87 being the lowest grade possible. what runs on 85? could the 3 (i didnt use it)?
