Any Blackberry users in the hizzy?

so I'll be getting a Blackberry for my new position at work.

I've been poking around at software to get....but don't know what's good.

Anyone with experience?

Anyone have "freeware" for these???

I know they do. I wanted the pocket PC cell phone version but I don't have a say in the matter .

Re: Any Blackberry users in the hizzy?

well for some of us, we get stuck with that crap (I also get mine through work). I pushed for the treo 650 (Runs on Palm Software) over a pocket PC phone, but ended up with blackberry. Rim soft ware is solid, but lacks any of the great third party apps you can get with Windows Mobile or Palm. But blackberries are still very useful. Check out www.blackberryforums.com, everything you need to know is there.

Re: Any Blackberry users in the hizzy?

i got sick of big cell phones, i used to have the hip top and some other big phones, but im done with it... why do i really need all that crap on my cell...lol

now i have nextel and i got the smalllest phone they have( wich is still big since it a nextel phone)
but this one is a flip and easy to use, the only thing i wanted was a camera, cause i think thats the only good thing to have on a phone...

but if your work gave you the phone you have to deal with it, have fun...lol

Re: Any Blackberry users in the hizzy?

Yeah it's called a RIM Blackberry. Blackberry being the software, and RIM being the company generally manufactures it.

You got a SideKick? Someone wants their info hacked *cough* paris hilton *cough* .

Re: Any Blackberry users in the hizzy?

We are not allowed to download software to the RIM, So I dont know what software there is for it.

I had to try one of these things out. I know its big and cumbersome.

Its Charging and Im just browsing through the Instruction booklets too.

Seems pretty bad ass.
