Drove a Hyundai for the 1st time...

my M 3 was in service for oil change, alignment and ac check up. so dealer rented my a Hyundai Santa Fe. its pretty new one...have about 20k miles on it. Inside was very roomy and can see the road real good. Now i know y ppl like to drive SUV. hehe The interior quality definately feel cheap...real cheap. The brake was kind of spongy and accelerator is not very smooth either. kind of need a lot of force to brake or accelerate. M 3 is SO much better in terms of feel and handling and braking. Even though the one i have is a V6 i don't feel much power at all. its a decent car but nothing to get excited about. its all about the Zoom Zoom...

*ugh* A Hyundai eh? Most ppl. can tell you WHY they give you the 10 year, 100K mile warranty.

The Sante Fe's are *supposed* to be decent, but guess not.

You KNOW you'd trade your MZ3 for a Tiberon. haha

not sure about the santa fe but i also own a '03 tib gt and the car kicks ass. not the interior quality of my 3 but not bad.... and that's easy to deal with when considering performance, looks and most importantly cost

Majority of people i know who drive hyundai's never really have problems with them. Hyundai's are getting to be good cars (it's just hard to kill a bad reputation). but I think hyundai's are basically for people who are just look for a daily driver.

2007 tiberon is supposed to be RWD.

If...
Nissan Motorsports = NISMO
Then Does...
Honda Motorsports = HOMO?

haha, i got paid to take this test drive!!
i saw the new v6s sonata and drove that sante fe. the cars were ok to look at. the dealer i went to also had mazdas, so after about 30 minutes drive, i grabbed some catalogs and went the mazdas. saw several sp23 and many more 3s than when i bought mine. i asked bout trading up to the sp and they say trade plus 5gs and its yours. LOL, i said hell no, i'll just wait for mzspeed. they wouldnt deal. oh well.
btw, there was another hyundai sweeps that just ended for the new sonota, so hopefully i'll get another offer.

**apocalypse, didnt u get the offer?

haha yeah also because my dealership got no alingment machine so they have to send it somewhere else. Also they later found out my Auto window down switch is also bad, so they replace that.

one thing i was impress with the Santa Fe was the AC chilly. i set to the lowest level and its cold enough already compare to my M 3 which don't feel much until u hit level 3. The santa fe that they gave me was a V6 and 4WD...boy what a gas buster...5 gallons last less than 80 miles. Sheesh...and i thought my m3 was bad getting about 22-24.
