Where do you buy your gas from?

With the so-called “War in Iraq”, the terrorists still abundant, gas prices reaching record highs, and the Saudis boycotting American goods, I thought it would be good to create a post with some very interesting, very factual information. And in light of all this craziness, we CAN do something to hit the terrorist & Middle Eastern countries where it hurts, even without serving in the armed forces and from thousands of miles away!

An interesting thought is to boycott their GAS.
Every time you fill up the car, you can avoid putting more money into the pockets of the Terrorists! Just buy from gas companies that don't import their oil from the Saudis or any other Middle Eastern country at that!

Nothing is more disturbing than knowing when I fill-up my tank on the 3, I am sending my money to people who hate the United States and are trying to ruin our country and way of life, and kill us!

I thought it might be interesting for you to know which oil companies to buy gas from and which major companies import Middle Eastern oil:

Shell.... 205,742,000 barrels
Chevron/Texaco......... 144,332,000 barrels
Exxon /Mobil............... 130,082,000 barrels
Marathon/Speedway... 117,740,000 barrels
Amoco............................62,231,000 barrels

For example, if you do the math at $50/barrel, these imports amount to over $33

Here are some large companies that do NOT import Middle Eastern oil:

Citgo.......................0 barrels
Sunoco...................0 barrels
Conoco...................0 barrels
Sinclair....................0 barrels
BP/Phillips..............0 barrels
Hess........................0 barrels

All of this information is available from the Department of Energy and each is required to state where they get their oil and how much they are importing.

So next time you fill up the 3 (or any car), think to yourself, do I want to put gas into my car that has come from a terrorist country or country that supports terrorists, and do I want to support them?

I would hope this doesn’t start a big flame war; cause for anyone who objects to this post obviously doesn’t care!! Face it, you can’t not agree with this post!

Really people, how can you say you don’t care about what kind of gas you put in your car regardless if it came from Middle Eastern countries or not??!! Just think about it before yelling at me and getting all uppity!

Happy Driving to you all, and remember the next time you stop to fill up, is that a gas station that imports gas from the Middle East?
I think it's worth it to keep the list of all the companies who DON'T in your car and go to that station. Once I learned of this I started doing to the same. Peace~!

It's not exactly a repost. BTW, none of the ones that don't import gas are in my area. Lots of shell stations
