You need to race your car, win a lot, win some more, and then win again. Then call up a company and tell them you always win and they'll give you money if you put a giant sticker of their company's logo on every square inch of your car's body. And then you have to keep winning. You basically sell your car's soul to whoever it is that's sponsoring you.

You won't get free stuff unless you do what ^ said. You may get a discount or if their real nice a cheap part if you can find a company who's interested in the 3 and you let them prototype a part for it. Otherwise I wouldn't waste my time.

Re: How can someone get a sponsor?

Getting sponsored is no easy task especially not for free stuff. You have to be willing to give a lot of your time and a lot of your energy. start off with just getting a basic sponsorship from Mazda Motosports for discounts on MazdaSpeed parts (you must submit race results at least twice in a year) If you dont plan on racing, good luck.

Re: How can someone get a sponsor?

Either you design a show car or a race car. Then you either win shows or win races. Then you sell your soul.

Show cars are generally the "easier" (especially for a car like this) way but it is no small task. And most sponsors have something like an 8+ major show/yr commitment requirement.

And with the amount of money you'd need to put in to win a show your going to need alot of free stuff since you'll be broke.

Right, you're talking about a multi thousand dollar initial investment.
