Senior Year Grades Different Than Other Years Of HS?
Ok, so i just got my report card in the mail and my final overall GPA for the whole year is a 2.83. 2 As and 4 Cs. All of high school i never dropped below a 3.0 until this year.... I was just wondering if anybody else experienced the same thing?

its called senioritis. most people slack in their last year of high school. i didnt, and i got a scholarship and grant because of my gpa

^^ ya... maybe also cuz i really didnt do a thing all year...so the little that we had to do wasnt enough to really give us accurate grades. that and they switched out schedule from a 4 by 4 to 6 classes a day with pd. 4A and 4B switching everyday.

lol. the only time i got a 4.0 was my freshman year... oh well, now it's college time and it's actually gonna mean something so ill actually work hard for that 4.0!

I had major senioritis!!! I did great the other 3 years, but I never took an art class, so in order to graduate I had to take one chorus class and pass it...well, I was in a class last period of the day with nothing but freshmen, just got a car and yea, decided I didn't wanna go anymore...almost failed that class and then almost didn't graduate! ahahah I was taking A.P. Calc , A.P. History, a college course and the whole 9, with no problems, was # 14 in the class and got accepted to my 1st choice college, but that damn chorus class was almost the end of me!

ya... i applied to 3 colleges and got rejected from one; College Park. and it wasnt because of my grades or anything... that was the only school that i sent my recommendation from my french teacher too... well i had opened it up and read it and then put it back into an envelope and now i wish my mom saw it before she sent it out cuz my french teacher said that we have family problems and how i want to move out and shit... um wtf?! you dont say that in a recommendation...

I was a little stupid and a little cocky all at the same time when applying to colleges... I knew that the #3 girl in my class did not get accepted to this school, but I had a better SAT score and actually did things outside of school (sports and stuff) SO, I only applied to that one school and figured that if I didn't get it then it just wasn't meant to be and I would go to the county college...lol I'm an idiot! I did get accepted with a nice grant too- but it was still so stupid of me. I dunno what the hell I was thinking my senior year

My senior year was probably better than my previous years. I didn't do shit in HS. Graduated with a 2.8 or something.

Haha...yea. I think I had senioritis for a couple years. I did great in middle school. But almost failed most of my class freshman year. Then had to take first semester of junior lit again my senior year (btw, a senior in a junior class = not fun!), then slacked off most of my senior year and ditched quite a bit. Thats what happens when b/f has no class after lunch and I only have one and I don't need it to graduate..yea. That was bad...Fun, but bad....
