SATA II RAID

Anyone know of any SATA II Controllers out there? That support RAID 0? I can't find much in the way of anything... newegg has nothing, for example.

I finally found the HGST T7K250 160GB SATA II drives I wanted at zipzoomfly.com for $90/ea... now I can't find an appropriate controller.

Mine's built into my motherboard... 2 Raid 0 WD Raptopr 74GB 10,000 RPMs, paired with my 3.4 HT P4 and 1GB of DDR2 5300, and ATI X700 Pro with 256 of DDR3... Talk about Zoom Zoom!! I have the intel d915pbl motherboard.

OK this is what I don't get. This is the $52 card:
http://www.promise.com/product/produ...product_id=128

It says SATA II, but it also says "2 Enhanced Serial ATA 1.5G Ports for support of up to 2 drives"

"1.5G"?

Seems like that particular card is not a true SATA II card.
It simply states that it has SATA II extensions. It does not support 3Gb/s speeds, or SATA 300, hence not really SATA II.
You'll still run at SATA speeds but with the following SATA II capabilities:
- Native Command Queuing
- Staggered Drive Spin-Up
- HDD Activity Indication

1.5G aka SATA 150.
Found a nice review below.

Yeah that's what I seem to be seeing in most cards. I can't find any real II cards.

From the review, 3Gb/s transfer rate does not seem to make a whole lot of difference as far as performance is concerned. Don't think you could go wrong with that card. Plus, it's cheap!
