Hi, i just woke up after being wasted at my prom afterparty... lol
Anyway, while waiting for my date to get ready at various salons, I stopped by a Mazda dealership simply to look, and one of the dealers came up to me. I mentioned that I alread had a an Mz3, but it had been hit twice (look at this thread
He saw the car (and was pretty much surprised that the damage wasnt as bad as I normally overexaggerate it). He says that he would buy the car off me, even with the 6000 miles and the damage it has... I didnt really care at the time so i set a pretty demanding price as to what I would be willing to sell it at, $15,000. He then offered to sell me a brand new, exact model Mz3 for the same price I got my current one, $18,500 (tax, fees, everything). I thought this was too good to be true, but he even managed to get approval of the deal from the manager.
Seeing that the repairs would cost over $3000, and that the price difference of the cars the dealership is offering me costs exactly that... how could I not miss this deal. But it just seems to good to be true, i mean, who would pass at the chance of getting a brand new car over an old car that is repaired, patched up, and has a history on it... is there a catch to the deal?
I didnt get to talk much else to the dealer, we are meeting again today in a few hours.
