Download BitTorrent first ( www.bittorrent.com ), make sure you download according to your OS. Then just click any Torrent file (.torrent extension), and BT will automatically download the file..... a BT window pops up to show you the progress.

EDIT: Oricle, I just found out that BT doesn't work under OS X 10.2.... only 10.3 and newer.

Bit-Torrent Help

I have been using Azerus. Check them out, I think they had dl's for all OS's.

Where did you find the Topgear torrents?

*Edit* Here ya go Oricle........ OSX is about mid to lower part of the page. http://azureus.sourceforge.net/download.php

And just like Absinthe said, after you dl the program, just double click on the bit torrent, and it will automatically start to download.

Anyway, OSX 10.2.8 is a hideously outdated OS at this point - you really need to update that, as you're going to find more and more unworking apps for it. 10.4 is only $69 if you are (or know someone who is) a college student, or teacher of some sort ($129 normally). As flipped says though, SoulSeek might be a decent option, or Limewire.

Bit-Torrent Help

well thanks for the help. i have azureus working right now, but i am having problems opening AVI files. i downloaded VLC and i will give that a try when the download is done.

i am updating to 10.4 soon (in a month or so). my sister bought the family pack with my student discount so that should be up and running soon. i cant wait to use the new dashboard.

and brandon, in the 5 years that i have had my mac i haven't had any problems. i wish i could say the same for my fathers last 4 pc's in 6 years. and i would also have to deal with that horrible program called windows
