Video compressor

I got a 9MB file I need to compress so I can put it on the web. I tried Dr. Dr. Divx, but it reduces it to like a 67x92 window for some reason.

Anyone know of anything else?

Try Windows Media Encoder. It's free and very easy to use. Tho, you'll have to experiment to get the right quality/size ratio that's good enough for you. If you don't mind WMV.

Dr. Divx didn't let you pick the resolution of the video? Odd, but I've never used it.
Nandub is a very versatile program to encode/crop/filter to various file formats. I mostly used it for divx/xvid encoding and such. Lots of options.

Great places for help, downloads, and walk-thrus.

If you don't like WMV, use Quicktime. I've had great success with that as well. I think you have to upgrade to Pro in order to encode stuff... and I do find it easier to encode with Quicktime vs. Windows Media Encoder.
