I Did One Of The Dumbest Things Ever Today!!!

so right after school im driving home from school and im stopped at this red light right behind one of my friends. so i reved twice just for fun. anyways, then i look in my rear-view mirror and see this girl driving these two guys that i HATE. (some of you prolly know why i hate them if not you can PM me about it). anyways, i wanted to show off so i put my car in neutral so i would be all ready to do a burnout once the light turned cuz i wanted to show off... the light turned, i do a huge burnout and wtf is that noise?!?! i get home, get out of my car, look at the tires (cuz i thought i might of messed up the alignment or something?) nothing wrong.. so i go in say hi to my daddy and then i was like "ok im going to work, ill call you when i get there!" i turn the car on; omg something is deff wrong! so i back out of the driveway as my car shakes like crazy and makes this weird noise and now i think it's coming from the engine. i turn the car off and pop the hood. no smoke, but there's this darker area on the engine cover on the top left-hand side... looked kind of like water or something but when i touched it there was nothing there. so i go back in my car and turn it back on and it does the noise again! i shift it into drive and it sounds like something just dropped or something! i try going forward but stop cuz of the shaking and the noise and now i know it's coming from the engine. i call my daddy and tell him to come outside, there's something wrong with my engine. he doesnt hear anything from outside so he tells me to pull up onto the driveway. so i do and he gets in. then he asks me if i got an exhaust put on!! i was like no! i didnt put anything in my car... anyways, he backs out of the driveway, puts it into drive and the dropping noise happens again! he pulls back into the driveway and was like, take the jeep to work..

so on my way to work i call my boy and he was sorta yelling at me asking why i did that burnout and all. then i tell him everything about what i saw and heard and then he goes on and on about what it might be and then tells me how what i do to my car is really bad for it. i was like well thanks for telling me now; after i fuck up my car! the bad thing is that a lot of the things that i have been doing, i picked them up from my boy when he would drive my car over the summer. i was all crying on the way to work.

anyways, i get to work and mommy tells me she called mazda and then the tow people and they're towing my car away like in 45 min from now... i really hope it's nothing serious. damn im soo stupid tho! i wish i never tried to do that burnout just to show off cuz of those two guys that i hate. when i get my car back; if my parents dont sell it cuz they find out it was the way ive been driving it all this time that messed it up, im never gonna do a burnout again in my 3! damn, im soo mad at myself...

sorry this is so long... i just had to get it all out...

Well that sucks...burnouts generally arent advised..they just cause wear on your tires that you need and can put uneeded strees on the tranny and brakes depending on who you are doing your burn out.

rox from the sounds of it u did a nuetral drop, ouch thats gotta be the worst thing u can do in an auto, i dont see how the dealer can put the blame on u, but it should be repairable under warranty, u either killed ya tranny or axels...

never rev an auto in nuetral then throw it into drive while the revs are higher than idle....i can imagine the motor mount thump u got too when u did that...

leave the burnouts for us manual drivers...

sorry for what happened, and good luck dealing with the stealership...

**and you thought that wouldn't get removed?

Yep, thats what you get for doing neutral drops. My guess from your discription would be a torn up flywheel...

I did that to my 71 Chevy Nova :P

Good luck.
