reckless Ticket =(

Just got a reckless driving ticket going 50 when the 25 light was for the school zone. :shock: court date is set for june 21 yikes so any advice on getting the charges lessen thanks in advice guys.

Man your school zones are 25 Mp/h? Damn ours is 30 Km/h, just under 19 Mp/h. :shock:

get a lawyer...
most likely u can get off with out points(insurance surcharge) and just pay the ticket/court fees

**and you thought that wouldn't get removed?

Do you have to go to court for every ticket you guys get down in the US? Or only at a specific level of violations?

That would suck - not to mention clogging up the legal system with worthless time-wasters like traffic violation cases! They need to be prosecuting criminals, not citizens who got caught driving too fast.

Only if u exceed 20 on whatever the speedlimit was. LIke if the speed limit was 25 and i was going 40 then i wouldn't have to go to court. Too bad i was going 50 :x

bvmazda3: every ticket you get, but going to court could mean you goto a clerical desk and pay the ticket off.

Frosty: the speed range from 15 to Ive seen as high as 35 mph

get a ticket attorney and fight it.

and more importantly pay attention when driving and

DON'T SPEED IN SCHOOL ZONES

i think it may vary from state to state, i beleive in n.j. any moving violation requires u to see the judge...

Most states its your choice whether or not you go to court, for speeding. You can just pay the fee. But his ticket isn't for speeding, it's for reckless driving (or reckless endangerment?). That's definitely putting you before a magistrate or judge.

And yeah, get a lawyer.
