Buying A car(teen needs help)

Alright my birthday is in 2weeks and I thought I was getting a car for my birthday hopefully a mazda3 but my parents have just informed me that their broke and their not getting me no car and if I want a car I better buy one. I really wanted to start driving by my senior year but now it looks like I will be riding the bus. I don't have a job or anything trying to get one in the summer but it's like I need a car to get to a job and I need a job to get a car. So I'm I scrwed for getting a car. How should I go about trying to get a car? I guess new cars are out of the question now. How much is insurance usually By yourself or with your parents? What should I do. I think I might jsut sell everything I own.

Yeah youre fucked....if youre parents cant help you then its pretty much a worthless cause...unless you want to sell drugs or become a hooker.....

but on the better side here are some ideas.... if you live near somewhere you work go and talk to the owner express your needs and such and hopefully hell give you a hand..hell even if you can ride your bike you could go further from home and at least then you could start earning some money...where there is a will there is a way....

get a used beater that will get you to work and back.

you should ride the bus to where ever you have to work. my parents wouldnt buy me a car so i had to take the bus to work till i had enough to buy a DD.

If...
Nissan Motorsports = NISMO
Then Does...
Honda Motorsports = HOMO?

yeah..i drove a beat up old pickup truck for 1.5 years...helped me save for a car. it only broke down once! your best bet is a used car..but even then you gotta take repairs and whatnot into consideration

Bite the bullet and go get a job. Cars cost money to buy, and will continue to cost money while you own them.

My first car cost $250 and my dad helped me find it. This was a few years ago (but I'm not that old). It was a beater to be sure, but we worked on it and fixed it up so that it was semi-decent. I used to joke that it took a tank of gas and a quart of oil to go anywhere I wanted (you could tell by the big cloud of black smoke following me around). Still, my friends and I had a great time in that car...and the cool part was I never worried about anyone stealing it or hurting it in any way.

Don't feel like you have to get a really new car to have something to drive. Save some money and look for something around $1,000 or less. They're out there and can be fun and a learning experience all at the same time!

suck it up and get that bus pass while you find employment. don't expect hand outs in life unless youre on welfare. truth hurts, i know.
