Street racing topic and the attitude of the forum users

I've been lurking around many car forums.

usually s2ki.com, clubrsx.com, 7thgencivic, mazda3forums.com, rx8club.com, nsxprime.com, and odyclub.com are the forums I usually go to and take a look around.

Out of all the forums listed, I noticed that most of the Honda forums carry street racing topic.
The forums are : s2ki.com, clubrsx.com, 7thgencivic.com

It was really odd to see that the forums listed above has way less than mature level of English proficiency. Plus, their attitude is very childish and immature that I never really want to talk with them.

On the other hand, all the Mazda forums and nsxprime.com and odyclub.com, which forums don't have street racing topic, feels like have more mature people.

I'm not saying that everybody in s2ki.com, clubrsx.com, 7thgencivic.com forums are immature, but the forums feels ..... really cheap.

I'm really glad that none of the Mazda forums are smart enough not to let people talk about their 'kills' on the street.

My car is Civic.
My mom's car is Mazda 3.

My mom can smoke me all day... T_T

Street racing is stupid, pure and simple. I'm personally glad that the administrators do not promote this by having a street racing section or whatever. Also, since you have been lurking, I'm sure you have seen that generally when people post "war stories" about street races they are not well received.

If you really want to race the car hit a track and get the time slips so we can see what your car can REALLY do. Telling me you beat a WRX on the street or whatever proves nothing, a time slip tells the story.

Man, I'm glad no one posts like that on M3F... I'd be so sad if a Mazda3 got walked by a Metro

My favorite quotes are "I could beat a geo metro with a good pair of nikes and a bottle of water to quence my thirst" and "You suck at driving automatic".

Check out the off topic at nasioc.com if you post about a street race it's like a lamb to the slaughter. Classic hilarity always ensues. Plus it's a good offtopic area careful though it's addictive.

As for that Honda post - it numbs my mind that those butt heads think it's real, and take it seriously, meanwhile the poster just takes it for a ride. Classic.

What's street racing? Please explain this brand new phenomenon hibbj?
Racing that is happening on the streets rather than race tracks.

I think racing on the highway also can be called street racing since there's a lot of cars that are not involved in the racing.[/quote]
