Does that article bother anyone else? They go on about how safety MAY be an issue at this place... but nothing was mentioned about how the custard was OBVIOUSLY contaminated by some jackasses finger. Fingers release a LOT of blood when they get severed... how could they allow the custard to get packaged after someone lost their finger??

I've seen a guy lose most of his hand in a bakery... and that machine was immediately shut down, dismantled and sterilized. All the bread on the conveyor was thrown out just in case...

This is gross negligence (emphasis on the GROSS) and someone's ass needs to be kicked over it.

Yeah it's pretty disgusting. How they let the finger get distributed so quickly is pretty shameful

I'd think it's pretty noticable if someone lost a finger... screams of pain, squirts of blood... shut down equipment and clean up? Talk about negligence!

NASTINESS!!!

Seeing as how I am ServSafe certified and I work in the industry I find it quite repulsing. ANY time some like that occurs the product should be thrown away and everything should be cleaned and sanitized. Its purely irresponsiblity.

EXACTLY. It's common-fucking-sense. Whoever was in charge of that needs a unique form of punishment. Like... he should have to eat his cheerios after watching someone piss on them.
