Pronounciation of 'MAZDA'

Hey Everyone,

Well... I met a darling guy when I was in the USA last month and we exchanged phone #'s etc...

Anyway, me being the slightly obsessive freak that I am (not that he seems to mind! He was just so damn hot, and nice, and ah, I couldn't resist keeping in touch with him!) I bought a calling card so I could call him a few times.

So I was going on about my Mazda 3, and I realised he pronounced it 'Mars-duh'... for some reason, despite having been to the USA 7x now, I had never noticed the pronounciation difference of 'Mazda'.

In Australia we say 'mah-z-der' with the 'ah' sound at the beginning as in 'at' or 'cat'. I was like 'Mars-duh... that sounds better!'.

In brief, I've convinced him to trade in his jeep though and get a mazda 6. Ah I love having influence in car buying decisions. I can't wait till he comes to Australia next year <3 he promises he will... but ah will he keep the promise or will I bore of him before then? We shall see...

I'm so madly in lust with the guy... I'm so deranged at times. Hahaha.
