Argh, Insomnia is kicking my ass....
For some reason, I really enjoy watching the PBS Frontline bits when I can't sleep.

Nothing like a documentary to make your eye lids heavy......
uuugggghhhhh, tired - but not sleepy ......... yet.
FYI, this thread is useless

Insomnia sucks. I suffered with it pretty much the last year and a half I was married. I was so stressed out from trying that I'd just lay in bed for hours not sleeping. Not good when you're in college

Perhaps not being online at 4:30am would help?
Back during my teenage years we would always stay up till like 3am every night it seems and just mess around or ride places, nothing bad, just hanging out. Well my friends and I decided to get a 3rd shift job since we were always awake during that time anyways. I worked 3rd for like 5 years and generally on most days I would only get a few hours sleep tops. It sucked big ole balls. Even my days off were screwed up and I couldn't sleep good.
My last semester of school I was working third shift, getting off work and taking 2 classes in the mornings, coming home around lunch to sleep some and then heading back up to school for an evening class. Now that was no fun but I wanted to graduate so I could at least be done with school and look for a real job (i.e. anything 1st shift at that point!).
I find that PBS or listening to classical music helped me the most. That guy with the Afro that paints is the best when you are trying to sleep, him talking could make anyone sleepy regardless of time of day! Trying reading too, that seemed to work as well.

Nyquil makes you loopy. My recommendation to a fellow insomniac was Benedryl. Just one will relax you enough as well as clear out your sinuses and you can wake refreshed.

The next morning I couldn't wake up -- I felt numb, as if I were coming out of a coma or something. Freaky stuff.
