my mac system is coming along nicely...
i've been piecing stuff together slowly but surely. i've wanted to get only stuff i would keep with it. so far i've gotten:
western digital 120GB external drive [link]
logitech mx1000 wireless laser mouse [link]
apple wireless keyboard [link]
griffin technology imic [link]
belkin 4-port usb 2.0 hub [link]
the only things i'm not sure about... the apple keyboard. i'm afraid of geting the keys dirty, the home and end buttons don't work, and it doesn't have those fun extra buttons. i may end up trying to get the bluetooth microsoft keyboard. we'll see. and he usb hub. i wish i would have gotten the silver one, but they didn't have it when i bought it. i need to get another one though, so maybe i'll just buy 2 silver ones and sell the black one.
one of these days, when i have a real desk, i'll take pictures.
things still left to get:
garageband cables [link]
garagekey [link]
apple 23" cinema HD display [link]
another usb hub
maybe another external hard drive
decent media reader

I wish I had that kinda dough to spend on my mini
Even getting a BT mouse is out of scope for me right now. Just trying to get enough money for RAM (like $175... I'll get it from OtherWorldComputing... they're long time mac guys with free shipping and lifetime garuntee... sell generic, Samsung and Techworks RAM).
I do badly need to get a USB hub... I ordered a switch from newegg yesterday, shoulda ordered a usb hub while I was at it.

what actually want to do for usb and stuff is make a stand for the mini (like the skirt) and put some usb and firewire ports on the front and back of it, along with card reader slots on the front. not quite sure how i'm gonna do it, but it's my plan right now.

Right now because I can't find my damn USB hub, I have to unplug my kybd to plug in my Nikon. It's pretty funny.

So I upgraded to 1 gig of ram (purchased here: http://www.compusa.com/products/prod...amp;pfp=BROWSE ) and things are MUCH better now. The ram was a piece of cake to put in, too. Can't wait until I can't afford at LEAST a 7200 rpm drive, though. The current drive is still a tad bit too slow for my expectations.
That's the first time I've seen those "skirts" for the mini. Just when I was thinking about lowering the thing, too. haha

i'm wondering how big a difference there is between pc2700 and pc3200 since i've read the mini comes with pc3200 by default.

No clue...those numbers are foreign to me (ie: no idea what they mean or what they signify).

Are there any good bluetooth mice that are small? I'm wanting to get a mouse for my laptop, but all the ones I've seen are freakin' tall and huge.

or if you want a normal size mouse, http://www.dvforge.com/themousebt.shtml
if i didn't want more buttons (back, forward) i would have gotten that one.
