the Outer Banks in NC are nice for just relaxing and enjoying your drunken self. Or you could hit Atlantic City...

I always enjoy Ocean City, MD for my low budget ocean-side getaways...

Well, It's coming up on the time where I'll need to decide where to go get into trouble...!!! Since I live in Ohio I'm thinking NC SC VA or GA. Somewhere near water that I can drive my 3 to within a day. Any suggestions out there? I'm thinking mid-April as the time frame.
I've travelled up and down the east coast...

VA is boring. It's a great place to live, but not so great for having fun. There is a lot of culture sh*t here, like Williamsburg, Mt Vernon, etc. And if you like museums and government, you can visit Washington DC and see enough federal buildings to last the rest of your life. Unless you are willing to bump elbows with college kids in the bars and clubs near college towns, there isn't much night life to speak of. You can't even find a decent strip joint unless you visit 18th street in DC or venture into Maryland. And if you are going that far, might as well keep driving until you reach Philadelphia.

NC is what I have to drive thorugh on my way to Florida, same with GA. I don't know of anything fun about those two states. SC is good for golfers, and what, Myrtle Beach?

When I want to have serious fun, I buy a plane ticket to China.
