What would you do?

Let me just state that this did not happen to be but to a couple people that I know.

If you were fooling around with a girl and got her pregnant what would do and how would you fell?

Would you ask her to have the kid or get an abortion?
Would you do what ever you could for the kid or would you forget about it?
For the person I know they are trying to make her have an abortion although she was to have the kid. Also he is job less and will not take a job working at a fast food place because he feels that he is to good to work there.

Personal I would try to be safer and try to avoid this happening, but if it did I would first support her in her decision to have or not have the kid. Then after that I would do what ever I had to, to make sure that kid was taken care and I would not take the I am to good attitude towards any job if I did not have one.

I'm not a guy so this couldn't happen to me exactly, but I feel that it would be the guys responsibility but the girls choice.

The girl has the ultimate descision to make about keeping it or not- you will then have to deal with whatever she decides. Unfortunatly that is how it is. If a guy wants the girl to get an abortion, no matter what he does, if she wants to keep it he will have to deal with it and if not take care of the child emotionally, at least financially he will have to until the baby is 18. Sucks doesn't it?

I'm sure my answer won't be popular amongst the girls... but here goes:

It takes 2 people to make a baby (assuming this was consensual). So, the decision to have one is BOTH parties. I think if the guy says he doesn't want the baby... then the girl should NOT expect to get child support, and should consider having an abortion. Sure, it's her decision, in the end, though. BUT, if the guy says he does want it... then he should be a part of the kid's life, and definitely pay child support.

(Note: I'm basing my beliefs on the other belief that a fetus is not a human person until after 5-6 months along in pregnancy.)

well i'd be prolife..........cause it was afterall something they did, whether it was a mistake or not

so by having an abortion it's like running away from your responsibility, instead of taking it.....
if you can't accept the risks, don't do the act

it's both their problem/mistake so they both should take care of the baby, whether ot not they wanted it

this happened to a guy at work. he married her and his daughter was born on valentines day. he thought about an abortion early on but decided against it. he now says that would have been the biggest mistake in his life. i cant speak for your friend but i would take the responsibility. but being in the air force i would get an extra 200 bucks tax free a month for a kid.

I'd be a man and take responsibility for my actions. In other words, I'd support her decision.

Better yet, I'd do what I've already done... Take steps to make sure I never have to make that decision in the first place.

Eat right, exercise regularly, die anyway.

Well, it takes 2 to tango, so since he helped get her pregnant he shouldn't expect her to get an abortion. He should suck it up and get a job, obviously he is not too good for a fast food joint b/c he doesn't even have a job at all right now.
Personally I couldn't do an abortion.
