No More Loner Car???????

Get this crap. I called Young Mazda located in Easton PA, to have my car looked at for the engine vibration and A/C Compressor ticking. I asked them about the loner car situation and they advised me that they no longer give them out. If possible you may get a car for maybe two days, but that was pushing it. They said that there insurance wount let them do it anymore. Is'nt this part of your waranty, this was included in the $$,$$$.$$ of the car? I think we or anyone who bought there car from Young should be entitled to some type of rebate. This is messed up.

loaner.

and yes, it's part of the warranty. call them back and talk to a manager. if he can't help you, call mazda north america (and make sure the manager you talk to knows that's what you'll be doing).

I've only heard of the no loaner system when the person was younger. Either way, if you buy a mazda you should get the loaner car.

They should give you something more expensive than you're car. Mz6, RX8 etccc..

Thats bullshit, they should give you a loaner without thinking twice.

I rember when I bought my car, some guy brought his MZ6 for service. He told the guy can I get a RX8, the dealer said sure. Easy as that!

When I had my car in the shop... ended up being for 8 days waiting for a part. They gave me a 6i for a loaner over my 3s.

They HAVE to give you a loaner based upon the value of your car or higher. It IS part of the warranty. When I had my car in for it's checkup they gave me a Tribute.

You sign a sheet that says, while you're driving you and you're insurance is responsible for the loaner...

If it's a local issue Mazda NA should be able to direct you to another dealership. That honors that part of the warranty.

Another thought is, if you are under a certain age they might not be able to offer you a loaner.

Flipped, that's BS. It's like I drop off a RX-8 and they give me a Geo as a loaner... I would have been like WTF?!?

i've also gotten a crappy echo and a crappy lancer. no loaner i've ever gotten was atleast the value of my car let alone better.

the thing is that mazda doesn't actually give the loaners, it's usually a rental agency and they're just crap.

No More Loner Car???????

HaHa... same thing happened to me when I dropped my GTI off at the Volkswagen dealer. The service dept. guy said VW no longer gives out loaner cars. When I grilled him about it, he then said... "well MAYBE, I can get you a car from Enterprise... if you're luck."

I was like... WTF?! I called Volkswagen of America & they were like, as long as you have a valid warranty and you car in in the shop for a warranty repair, you get a loaner period.
