Road Rage

So a day or two ago some teachers and the principal of my school attended a funeral of a student who graduated there about six years ago...story goes that he was driving with his girlfriend and did something to piss off another driver, maybe cut him off or something, well they stop at a gas station and the guy follows them, gets out of his car and shoots both the guy and girl more than five times each.

Don't know anything more than that but that is just outrageous, how can someone even think about killing another person for being cut off or something of the like? Just unbelievable.

Principal was saying how he was an excellent student, bright kid, played in sports and joined clubs. What a loss...and for what...

Just makes you think twice before cutting off the mom in the minivan.

Yeah, but some people just take it to the extreme. Something as minor as changing lanes could set someone off. To me, the people who suffer from this kind of road rage need some serious anger managment in addition to being institutionalized.

My ex used to do this kind of stuff, luckily he doesn't carry a gun, but people would just send him right over the edge and no one ever taught him how to control his anger. If someone cut him off, he would speed up to 100mph just to cut them back off again.

Road Rage

"I need more Rage-ohol" - Homer Simpson.

There really are days when people piss me off, but I just let them go past and not think about it. There are few times when I will mess with them. It really bugs me when people tailgate me on the highway and if I am in a bad enough mood I'll just slow down enough so they can't get in between me and the car next to me. Usually they slow down. If they don't, well then I make them bear it. There is no reason to do it, but no one seems to get the point around here. I've already been rear ended once, and I was waiting at a friggin stop light!! What the heck is with that.

It seems that the area where I live is populated with a very large amount of military personnel. There are numerous military installations here and I myself am in the military, so I can appreciate that everyone has a different driving style. But no one seems to have the one driving style I appreciate the most. Driving SAFE!!! If you are running late for work the worst thing you could do is speed and tailgate. That usually just results in people getting tickets or causing accidents. Most commands I have worked for usually don't have a problem if you are late as long as you call and let them know. Sure its wrong to be late and they are going to correct you, but they would rather see you there in one piece and unharmed than not there at all.

eh
it takes like an hour to drive to school........i'm lazyyy and i have 8am classes
outdoor 4$/day lots are far from my usualy buildings....and heard ppl's car get broken into/keyed sometimes, and my car would stand out since it's an orange sedan
parking permit costs nearly 800$ a year....and i can find better uses for 800$
UPASS(umlimited transit use) is already part of the tuition at around 20$/month right now, so since i have to buy it, might as well use it...

so i just get a ride with my dad, since he already drives my mom to work, which is kinda in the direction of my school....
and i can sleep on the way

Parking for $800 a year?! WTH kind of place is that? Thats messed up dude.

Also, why are people today in such a hurry to go places? Do they have no sense of time? And why do they take it out on other people?! I sometimes enjoy driving my 3 slowly its pretty relaxing.
