My Accident

So Friday Night I'm Going to the mall. everything is fine until i try to make a left. My light was green and the on coming car was far enough for me to make the turn, so i went for it. All of a sudden i hear my friend scream my name and all i heard and felt was a crash. the kid that hit me told me his light was yellow so he tried to speed up and pass the light.
Now i am goin to find out how much damage there really is. From what i saw at night my front fender and headlight was bad. My hood was sort of bent up a little bit. the biggest problem might be the front axel. when the tow truck came, the guy couldnt even turn the steering wheel. that might be a bad sign. I just wanted to know what you guys think i should do if the axel is messed up? should i repair it and let it be for a couple more years or spring for a new car. the part that sucks the most is that the car was hardly five months old i would appreciate your thoughts.

Yes, but only if the unibody isn't bent.

^^^ Agreed.

As long as nothing major is bent then Id fix it. If it affected the actual frame itd get rid of it.
