Anyone use Keyhole from Google? (56K BEWARE! Image Intense!)

It's an application where you can search all over the globe and pull satelitte images. The resolution in the more populated areas is quite detailed. You can search addresses and it will bring up that image with street names. Pan, tilt zoom...it's got it all.

Someone give me a point to look up and I'll post an image of it.

Here is Niagara Falls as an example:

2004 Mazda 3s 5-door:
* - Velocity Red 5-speed: Leather - HID + TPMS - ABS Package - Moonroof + 6 CD

Mods:
* 3.5" Stubby Ant. - Mazda6 Dual-Tone Horn - K&N Panel Filter - TWM SS w/Bend - 215/50/17 Hankook Ventus HRII - Shaved Door Mouldings

My step dad designs those satelites. He works for linton-task who makes satelites like those for the army. The ones they sell though are much nicer. He brought home a picture he printed off from work of my house so close it looked like someone took it standing on the roof of the house across the street.By the way these satelites found afgahn bombers buried in the sand in desserts.

Thats cool. It's amazing how far this technology has come in the last 20-30 years. To even think that this kind of resolution would be available for the public consumption 25 years ago would have landed you in the loony bin.

Is it true you can set a newspaper on the ground and read it from outer space on your computer using this technology? I think someone managed it with Microsoft's toy, similar to this, but more powerful (and expensive).
