He didn't remember my name, but he remembered I had a 3?

Oh the irony!

Last night I went out clubbing in the gorgeous Gold Coast region (if you are ever in Australia GO THERE!!!)... after countless numbers of losers trying to crack on to me, finally someone semi-decent sat down and started talking to me (then again I was so drunk by this stage, I would have thought that an ape man was semi decent!).

Anyways, we sat down and talked for maybe an hour or so (well, he was buying me drinks!) but unfortunately my friend (who I was there with) was having a bit of a crisis with her ex, and stormed out so the good friend I am naturally had to follow her.

I quickly grabbed the guys phone and banged my number into it and told him to call me or whatever, then went after my friend.

Anyways, today around lunch time or so, I get a text from the guy...

Quote:
"how are u feeling today? hows ur friend? im sorry u prob told me a million times but ive 4got whats ur name? Ur a cool chic, very nice, u have a mazda 3 right?"
Hahah it cracked me up, he didn't remember my name, but he remembered what kinda car I told him I'm getting (STILL on order! Grr!)? But oh well, he was pretty cool himself if I remember correctly. But yeah, that really did amuse me. Because I'm sure I told him my name at least a dozen times, yet only mentioned once what kinda car I have. Ah c'est la vie. Sorry, I just had to share that enlightening situation with everyone.

Last night though was actually a bit of a disaster because my friend and I couldn't find accommodation ANYWHERE at the last minute so ended up sleeping in the back of my Corolla, parked alongside the beachfront, with the back seats down. Hahaha we must have looked like such dags. Oh well. We then went to the beach the next morning to sober up, had a swim, all that (oh and it was fun getting changed into our bikinis in the car as well! ugh the number of perverts!)...

But then got back to the car and the damn thing wouldn't start. I mean, I hadn't even had the key in the ignition so nothing had been running which could have drained the battery... even so, I had to call my Auto Club for roadside assistance because the ignition wasn't even ticking over. It did turn out just to be the battery (thank god), after all the battery is the original, and is almost 4 years old so it's done pretty well to last that long. Unfortunately the damn thing had given me almost no warning whatsoever. It just decided to die. Haha don't ya hate that? My friend and I were cracking ourselves laughing though, we thought it was all pretty hilarious.

Ah that's life. [/quote]

I remember people by what car they drive.

G/f said a couple of her friends were coming over. I was like, "uh ok... who are they?"

She was like "Jeff and his sister... you know Jeff. You had that Psych class with him."

5 minutes later, "OH! Jeff with the Lumina Z28?"

That's because he knows the backseat in the 3 is big enough to have sex in. Easier to remember and visualize that in the car than a woman's name.

I always remember people by what car they have and not their name. Just something I do, like yesterday, someone I had freshman english with I saw them and said hey. I had to clue what their name was but I remembered they drove an RX-7.
