Food and Your Significant Other

Have you ever been in this situation?

You and your SO (significant other) are sitting at home sharing a favorite snack...suddenly you and your so reach down at the same time for the last ::insert favorite treat here:: what do you do?

Do you get mad? Do you fight? Do you share?

Well, if my ex girlfriend counts as a "significant other", then I would let her have it, but she would insist on splitting it down the middle.

Thankfully I am not living in Somalia so there is plenty of favourite foods to go around! Count me in 'never have and never will'

Nope I never have but there have been a few times when I had ordered 2 Mcdonald combo meals with supersized fries. GF would be eating the fries out of the bag and when we got home she would grab the other one that was full and not the one she was eating out of. That shit use to have me hotter than Tabasco.

We don't fight over our favorite foods anymore. My wife is one of those people that likes to "pick" from my plate while I'm eating if I have something better than she does (which I always do because she's on a diet). Forget about the fact that it's incredibly rude, I don't like other people putting their hands into my food and rooting around like a pig pushing around slop with their snout. If I'm eating a snack, that's one thing. Once I have a plate of food in front of me, it's off limits to the rest of the world.

I also hate it when other people eat in the car while I'm driving. If I'm a passenger in the car and we pick up some fast food, I wait until we get where we're going to eat.

Eat right, exercise regularly, die anyway.

After reading my post again, I think I sound like a food hoarding monster! I don't mind sharing food at all... as long as it's from the pot and not from my plate!

We "play fight"... but I'm usually the one that mentions that it doesn't matter, because we can always buy some more! Usually we split it...
