That's not so graphic. It's good to see that he's OK.

He was pretty damn lucky.

Now I'm happy I have a .45 I've got "stopping power"

Since he got shot. I wouldn't call it a dud. The bullet worked fine. Just aimed a little low. The energy was just absorbed and redirected. Kinda like a bullet proof vest.

So, is he going to get a Purple Heart?

^^ Doesn't matter, I could still kill a person with it.

My buddy's Grandpa died a few years back. We were cleaning out his room. He had a stash of WWII guns. His original Army issue Colt 1911, a 1930's Luger, etc. We took the guns out, cleaned them up, shot them, cleaned them again, and got them stored away properly.

His old guns were still leathal.

That's actually funny if you think about it, I can picture that... Soldier rounds the corner, Iraqi shoots, hits his tooth, he doesn't feel it, keeps moving forward pointing his weapon at the insurgent, and he surrenders. "Don't move bitch, I'm an American, and your coming with me!" Hahaha, hey all that matters is that he's still alive and cheated death in the wildest way. That's 1+ solider, -1 Iraqi insurgent.
