now. I am interested in building a MicroATX small form factor PC. with some moderate to medium performance. I noticed that the AGP port on the board is not there. I have submited to BUY.com for a return and got my RMA number but I still have the board. Would I be better off to get a board that had a space for the AGP port?? Im not sure if I would be better off returning this board for another one that does have the slot for the graphics card????? am I missing something here?

I am slightly to moderately confused/worried/concerned

Some motherboard help here????

What are yo going to be using this PC for? If it will include any sort of 3D gaming, return it. If you are only going to be using for an HTPC or web surfing, keep it.

For gaming, as moderate as it is, I would highly reccomend getting a dedicated graphics card.

You may want to look at getting a MB that supports 800 FSB. You can also look at getting a board with PCI-Express. It is slightly faster than AGP, but nothing worth rushing out and buying. The other big thing is you may want faster memory, PC 3200(400mhz) is the minimum I would really look at, and you could go faster, budget is the main concern.

Also, have you considered the AMD 64 chip. It is a little cheaper than the P4 and is back and forth as far as speed goes depending on the application, but normally faster.

If you post your overall budget I could give you some more reccomendations. Also, why do you want a small form factor?

those are good factors to consider, and id like to stick with MSI. Im still browsing about the MSI site and Buy.com. I have already chosen the CPU and its on its way here now. And yes, it is a pentium 4, so its kinda late to go back on that. I chose the MATX to conserve space, but Id like to at least have an AGP port in it aslo. And also, I think MATX looks alittle more nifty.

This one is $58 shipped, but has DDR 400 and AGP 8x, the other one has AGP 4x.
