WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER HELP!!!

Ok here's the problem

For some odd reason I cant get any sound out of my windows media player and no its not on mute.

Every other audo on my pc works

When I try to play a cd using my windows media player I get the following message

Cannot play back the audio stream: No audio hardware is available or hardware is not responding

I already made sure I have the newest version

Any ideas?

Also download a program called 'Gspot'. It helps identify the codecs (the software used to compress audio and video) used and if your computer has them. If not, you can just download the appropriate codec.

I don't believe WinAmp plays video, never tried it. But the thread starter is having issues with CDs..
